Reply to "Halfshaft orientation"

The factory assembled the cars with the thick end inboard. However, if one installs the GTS headers with 2-1/4 or larger dia pipes, the thick end of the halfshaft will contact the exhaust pipe on bumpy roads. By simply reversing the halfshafts, more running clearance is gained even for std exhausts. For those concerned with unsprung weight, the lighter end should be outboard anyway. Another no-cost mod!
