Hall Pantera Street Brute motor... help please

My new baby has a street brute engine, built by hall.
I emailed Hall to ask more specifics on the engine, and no answer. So I called them. They don't keep records of what they put in it !
I was hoping someone may have any idea what goes in these engines.
What I do know is it is a HP2 cam ( no idea on specs ) it still has 4v heads with performer manifold and 600 vac sec carb.
What I would really like to know is cam specs and if it has open or closed chamber heads.
Is there a way to find out by looking at the outside of the heads ?
I have given it 34 degrees of timing and it doesn't ping with 98 octane fuel, which lets me think it may not be that high compression.
As always any help would be greatly appeciated.
