Well, I have been thinking about this. The mount has 2 bolts on top and 2 bolts on the inside. I think I can cut a hole between the 4 holes and insert the trimmed down backing plates. I know that there are a/c pipes and a battery positive wire in the passenger side.I plan to cut my way through with a small cut off wheel. When I start on it I will do an install photo shoot and post. I am still considering my options. What if I cut under the floorboard, then weld the panel back?
