George is a well respected racer here since the 60's, pretty much a local legend. He has a lot of mainland racing connections. His engine is a professionally done pro-stock build with the crank and rods from a top fuel/funny car manufacturer. Heads were worked over, custom made headers, roller cam, and many other custom made parts by mainland professionals. The car was running on methanol until converted back to gas for this auction. His car us a time capsule, he was a Pantera leader in Hawaii in the 70's and when the fad here died out, it was covered and put in the back of his shop seeing daylight very seldom.
