The first day of the auction passed today. Slow and no bidding. If you were shopping for a deal and had some cash, this was the place to be. There was talk about this Kruse auction advertising that mainland bidders would be present and none were seen. Sellers paid $500 to have their cars offered at this auction and only locals were seen bidding, not the market they were looking for. Many of the cars went home with pitifully low or no bids. Hmm, $100,000 just for listing fees and 12% commission on sales, no wonder the auction is making money. Many of the not so popular models were on the block today, the popular one go on tomorrow, we'll see if things change and if mainland bidders show up.
