Hazard Warning Switch

My hazard switch has not worked since I bought my 74 Pantera last Aug. The turn signels all work. The hazard switch itself goes in ok, and holds, but nothing happens. Are there maybe two wires I could jumper in the back to determine if its the switch or the wiring?
