My headlamp doors close as soon as I turn the key on, I raised the doors manually then as soon as I turn the key, they lower. I have the light switch out of the console at the time, ordered new because of all the fooling around behind it, it came apart. I have the RW,P and O wires off and isolated. The lights raised and lowered fine before I took buckets out to get access to put new radiator and installed new valance. Is there more ground wires for the motor other it being grounded by the motor to chassis? I also pulled front bumper and installed driving lights at the shock holes. None of this should affect the light motor should it?
The car is #5044 "L" but has the two pod dash and registered as 1973. Late 72 I guess. When I cranked the lights back up I made sure the limit switch just clicked at the lever as not to push the switch too hard. Any ideas???
