RM, don't worry much about a little noise. The headlight buckets are attached to a steel bar that rotates in poly bushings within the front fender mount brackets. They wear, fall out, etc. Then you get metal-to-metal noises when the headlights come up or down. Our car's bushings were gone in 1980; one of these days I'll put a new & improved set in place.
