Yes, the headlight harness connector behind the bucket is your most potential source of this problem. Getting your hands and arms into the small space is going to be a real trick but clean both male and female ends off using whatever tools will do the job. Spray off any leftover filings with an electronic contact cleaner. Then check the headlights. To further protect it, put some heat shrink over before you reconnect then slide it up over the plastic and heat it. I also wrapped mine in electrical tape.

If this does not work, swap the headlights and make sure the light assembly itself is not the culprit. Or do this first. But I would clean that connector anyways.
