Steve, this whole mechanical adventure you've so well documented on your 'Goose affirms the analysis that Ford's engineers made in '69 when they were considering the Mangusta as their road GT. As we know, they turned it down for design and mfg complexities that wouldn't work in high-numbers series production and instead helped to develop (sort of) the Pantera. What a task you took on- and it all started during the '09 Superbowl Party with an undefined squeak in the back end....
