Reply to "headlight switches have short lives?"

Has anyone sourced the rivets necessary to rebuild the switches. Especially the cross rivet that acts as the swivel for the button. It is 3mm metric in diameter and about 27mm long. I've tried a few places on the internet including aircraft spruce, yet no luck.
