Most likely it's the plastic piece that supports the bottom of the spring. That's what happened to mine.

Can that be fixed w crazyglue, or is it under too much tension for that to work?


I took the switch apart and found that the cast metal piece had separated from the stamped sheet metal to which it is attached. I reattached it with crazy glue but the switch still won't work properly.

I'm going to do a search for Bosch switches, as I can't see installing another one of these pieces of junk
