Reply to "Heater hose/tube - from engine to "radiator""

given the title includes Heater with radiator in quotes, I'll assume you mean the steel tubes in the console tunnel from engine bay to heater "core".

I have not approach their replacement yet, but I would be cautious of straight tubes interfering with shifter.

My "thinking", if the air conditioner can use flexiable hoses why not the heater?

I guess the thinking was a heater hose burst would scald, leaving marks. where an AC hose burst would suficate you with no visiblae marks
