I agree with BOSS ..cut them out and replace them with 1/2 pex ... armorflex is rubber pipe insulation ... if you snake pex thru the existing tubes your going to be lucky to get 1/4 tube thru ? your heat will be luke warm and you water pump probably don't have enough head pressure to push it thru.
