And now to answer a few questions

Veryfast Italian – The plan is to get it to a near to original as possible and in essence I will tackle the mechanics first and see if I can get a good summers use out of it and then turn my attention to the bodywork next winter. The interior is pretty OK but I will get the leather re-conalised sp.

In terms of events it will come down to Le Mans in June as a car to carry all the gear in and drive part of the track in on the Friday. I would not dare to mention what other cars I have on this forum for fear of being kicked out in the first week. It will also come to the Goodwood festival of speed which some of you may have heard about.

As for the beer, I’m afraid being British it’s warm and brown which causes some of your countryman a few problems when they get here. For what it’s worth my own part of the country is home to many Americans being the HQ for the USAF in Europe at both RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath so watching F1-11’s SR 71’s F4’s and F15’s over the years has been good fun, we have four American families on our street alone

Cyboman – Our wonderful Mr Bliar (Blair) has banned fox hunting so unfortunately ‘Tally Ho’ is consigned to history, he will have us driving at 55 next!

Charlie- We have actually met old mate at Le mans last June. On the Friday down at Arnage you parked your Pant up next to my 993C2S (now it’s out of the bag) and there was much admiring of the GT5. We’ve also had a bit of sparing on www.pistonheads.com about the old Le Mans weekend

Si – I have just had a subscription to Auto Italia for my birthday so I will try and get a back issue and have a look. With an Si you are a very lucky chap indeed, I think it might be the one in the current edition of the DDC UK magazine?

I have joined the Drivers Club and have had really helpful input from Roger Brotton and I’m calling him tomorrow as he is running an article on the import in the magazine which is good.

Kevin – Many thanks mate, as a club they are a whole lot friendlier than the PCGB! Not surprising really!
