I'm Xander from Holland,
I got interested in the DeTomaso Pantera because of this Jay Leno video on youtube
I got particularly interested because of the availability of parts and the dedicated following mentioned here and because the Pantera is IMHO the nicest looking and sounding supercar ever built. I guess you could say that I'm a 'car- and bikeguy'
My connection with DeTomaso except that Tom Tjaarda has Dutch roots
is that I own two rare Moto Guzzi's from the time De Tomaso was owner of Moto Guzzi: A Daytona 1000 the same here of which 900 are built and a Le Mans 1000 SE of which 200 are built. Next to that I drive a Citroen C6 of which 23000 are built I believe.Somewhere in the years to come I would like to buy a pantera from the beginning of the seventies, most probably imported from the States. Meanwhile I will look for a dry spot to park the car to protect it from the cold en rainy weather in holland
