A trustworthy driveable Pantera will probably cost around $25000, plus or minus. The two most important areas to check out are the transaxle and the body. Worn synchros in the tranny are expensive to fix while rust in the body/chassis is difficult AND expensive to fix. If this is OK so far, I suggest you join a Pantera club or two, and when you find a likely car, one of your new buddys (with no strings attached) will go with you and check it out. Experience counts.
