Please DO NOT rush into buying a Pantera. There is a HUGE learning curve to buying these cars wisely. Now if you've been lurking here for a while, have already read through all the information at panteraplace and banzairunner you've started off right.

Now you need to find some local owners, inspect their cars and listen to their tips on what and how to evaluate a Pantera.

I spent about 1 1/2 years in my search, passed on some nice cars, but since I knew what my Pantera could be, I kept looking until I found someone who had already built what I seeked.

If you are looking for a builder, your selection is a lot easier, as long as you know how to look for rust and evaluate upgrades and the ZF. But if you're looking for something you can jump in and drive, please realize your search may well take many months - your four days is just a start.
