Two pod were on '71 and '72 pre-L with a smattering of pre-L cars with it. You'll find that with De Tomaso there were no real defining VINs for alot of changes. You'll also find that VINs don't necessarily follow build dates e.g. a build date on the #3000 car may be earlier than the build date on the #2950 car. Very confusing. That's one of the many reasons this forum is extremely helpful. There are a ton of peculiarities with this car. You're lucky to find it at the start of your search instead of after your purchase.
