Hey Julian & David, etc. I'm not the moderator, but was just chiming in with George comment. Things did get a little funky compared to the past, but George is great about reeling things in with the true DeTomaso community. As far as me, I won't rob the original post by getting into other sidebar subjects, but just to reply to the question about my LP640...it's a Coupe. Plus, regarding comparing, it may not be right to get into the lose lose situation of comparing the LP640 to the Pantera, as they are two different types of cars, and each has their own pros & cons that could be contested over & over. In my opinion they are not meant to compare, unlike for instance comparing my SL65 to my SL600 which fits more for comparison in the same league. However one of my neighbors refers to the LP640 as "The Holy Grail", for whatever that is.
I had some Grey Poopie for lunch, now feel better.Sharkey in the original post wants us to stick together as a group and keep prices high, but I don't see that happening because everyone sells for different reasons. Some fire sell for immediate need, some sell just to get into something else, some just because they need massage therapist money with Bambi, etc...to each his own.
