High Speed miss

I've got a high speed miss @ 5000 rpm in 5th gear that as got me stumped....... New plug wires and plugs, the distributor is a mech advance type and the timing is right on. Can you advise as to what I should be checking on ? The Carb. is a Holley 750 vac sec. I was wondering if I may have carb. problem...
