highbeam wiring

Looking for information on the high beam lighting system. 1969 Mangusta brought over from Italy in approximately 1976 never been registered in the US. The car was dip stripped probably around 1980. Wiring was reinstalled most things seem to work okay however the High beams do not function, we have managed to trace the wiring from the high beam fuse to the turn signal indicator also can see the headlight relay however do not know how it all ties together. So far it appears to be wired with a green and black wire. Does anyone have an idea how it is actually wired? Also the low beams do work.
