I thoroughly enjoyed that read.

Having now owned 3840 for just over 3 years I still dont know much regarding its history, or that of the company.

The latest book regarding De Tomaso I have asked my local library to find a copy but no luck yet.
3840 is a Euro GTS model, and a little enigmatic.

In that its red with a black bonnet and boot, but under the chassis underseal its white, also inside the doors where the red has come off over the years its white too. Were all the body shells/coaches white before final painting?

Also the brake disc are solid, I did assume that a GTS would have vented discs but It could have been an option I suppose, it also has a Turin number plate still on the front, I also emailed the hotel that Mr Santiago De Tomaso lives but no reply from there sadly.
