Reply to "Horn Button"

One Pantera owner (in Sweden) built his own (documented in the Sept '98 POCA News), but I know of no one else, especially adapting the LeCarra horn button. Before you do any serious work, I suggest you get a schematic and note the toruouse path electrons trace to make the stock horn work. Then remove the steering wheel covers and note the stock horn wiring that will be exposed. Factor in the requirement to reroute wires in the turn-signal switch, which is impossibly expensive to replace, has zero spare parts available, is delicate beyond belief and difficult to disassemble. Finally, you may be different, but in my 23 years of ownership, I MAY have honked the horn 5 times.... and two of them were at car shows where one has to prove everything worked.
