As Marlin said, you need that return spring at the slave. If you have a long throw clutch slave, this will add clutch pressure. A diaphram type clutch will give you a lighter pedal over the stock 3 finger type.
The clutch effort reduction kit is very expensive and a big job to install.
I bit the bullet and have a new Centerforce clutch and regular slave waiting on my workbench.
