Don McLean is a musician famous for the song "American Pie" which is full of hidden messages and basically a tribute to Buddy Holly, the 50's rock and roll star who was killed in the crash of a plane named "American Pie" along with Ritchie Valens (LaBamba) and the Big Bopper (a popular DJ at the time) No TV until until '84 you poor deprived child!
