I’m new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself.
I don’t own a Pantera yet. I'm just getting to the point where my old project is wrapping up, so I'm starting to do research on my future project. My current toy is a 1990 Porsche 928S4. This car is responsible for calling my attention to something a bit simpler. The 928 is complicated, to say the least. A great car to drive but mechanically complicated. There are lots of electronics, and enough wire to choke a goat. The idea of a carburetor and points ignition is sounding allot more appealing.
I considered building a 427 Cobra but all those bits and pieces that need to be hunted down and many hours of work before you get to spend any time behind the wheel doesn’t sound like my cup of tea. I’m not too crazy about a soft top either. I want something more practice. In any case I’ve always admired the Pantera and my wife has given her stamp of approval so here we go.
