Reply to "Hydraulic Suspension Lift Kits"

There are no hydraulic lifts- that's slow-speed low-rider stuff. Hall Pantera sold (maybe still does) a pneumatic cylinder lift kit for air-dam Panteras that was a pair of air cylinders about an inch in OD X 12" long and hooked between the upper frame and each lower front a-arm. A small on-board air compressor filled the cylinders (dash switch) and lifted the front about 2" to get past speed bumps, steep driveways etc. The tankless system took about 2-3 minutes to pump up the cylinders and lift the car as I remember. They didn't hold air pressure very long unless you added a reserve air tank & valving, so except for the extra weight, they didn't seem to affect handling. I haven't seen one in use in decades. You could probably gin' something up locally in your part of the world.
