Steve: I also have Californians on my car. I added a small stick-on spot mirror to the passenger side as these mirrors are very small and the angle is hard to achieve. I did not get angled blocks with mine. Just a thin mounting pad. Sufficiently useful to see who is along side of you and I like the look of them.
