The GT5-S was only available from 1985-1990, 1988-1990 mostly outside the USA market. The EPA/DOT was very restrictive to get these cars into the US. This would make the GT5-S super rare (Amerisport production)and grey market cars. These cars are bringing a premiun if you can find one for sale. These cars command big dollars when in prestine condition. I would speculate that $90K-125K would be in line considering when did you read of one for sale, better still, see one on the street.
