... or you can get rid of your speedo cable altogether by converting your speedo to electric operation. North Hollywood Speedometer & Clock (818-761-5136) can take the workings from a VDO electric speedometer and transplant them into an OEM Pantera speedometer. They can also supply a matching VDO sending unit for the ZF. I had them do this for me with an electronic Veglia Borletti speedometer and sending unit and it works perfectly. At the time, they asked me why I wasted my money on the Italian gauge and sending unit because the VDO equivalents would have been much cheaper.
