Aside from closing this account, and alerting the bank, what else should I do now to protect myself.

So far he has my information from that one bank, account#, routing number, bank name and address, and my address and phone numbers.

Should I call my credit card companies and alert them as well?

I think these guys, IF they are scammers, were really good, because I talked with his assistant (who could have been anyone, or even the "buyer" himself).

Everything was set up and all good until the surprise "$3000 government tax" and pay that first, and "I need the car immediately, but can't make it home to pay the government tax, and don't know when I'll be back" thing happened at the very last minute.

I've been working with his bank, and assistant for days to make this happen, was talking to real people, so it seemed legit.

Now I have to go into protection mode.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
