Hey David, I'm pursuing the Ignition Switch Controller idea. I like the fact that I am reducing the amperage at the ignition switch, but plan to keep the hot rod universal ignition switch to connect to the controller at this point. I'll probably add the push button start too.

I'll post up the results of my installation.
