Going with the PE controller is a really good decision.

It's too bad that the replacement switch for the original is so expensive.

When I first got my car, it had an aftermarket starting switch mounted in the console.

When I pulled out the original, it didn't even need to be replaced, just disassembled, lubed and re-installed.

The electronic part of the switch was available separately back then as as a precaution I did replace it. After all, it was cheap at less than $40, AND it came with a new lock cylinder and key!

Must be inflation?
