Is the factory ignition switch really so expensive? Can you not buy the switch and lock cylinder or do you have to buy the complete assembly, including steering lock? If you do, so be it. Save yourself a headache and fix it correctly. Bite the bullet and buy a new ignition switch assy. and make it last forever by adding the PE Ignition switch controller.
