Update

Thanks to Mark, I called the Canadian Border Services Agency today and was told by two senior officials that ... YES ... you DO NOT have to pay duty when you import a car that is 25 years or older.

If you have already paid duty when importing your cat (like Doug and I did), you can make an Adjustment Request using this form:

http://cbsa.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b2g.pdf

Just photocopy your Vehicle Import Form and your receipt for the duty paid (the blue Customs form) and send it off.

I will let you know how I make out ...
