how do I know what spring rate to request? I would have assumed that all Pantera's might be the same.

It really depends on what you plan on doing with the car and your personal preference. Most people tend to put too stiff of springs on their cars. For ride quality, it is better to error on the side of soft than too hard.

My car, for example, has been lighten quite a lot. I have 250 on the front and 400 in the rears but I also have the electronically controlled shocks so I have a very smooth comfortable ride and then I press a button and the ride becomes very firm for track quality performance.

I have tracked ALL shocks sales from a spring rate perspective and I can tell you that most Pantera owners have gone with 300 on the fronts and 450 on the rears.

I also have a policy where I will swap out a customers springs for free if they are not happy with the spring rate they chose. They pay the shipping but the springs are exchanged for what they feel they would be more happy with. I have not had a single person take me up on that offer.

Take care, Scott
