Drag racing split Dommys are not typically (or ever to my knowledge?) IR. The Dommys are split to promote better fuel distribution in the plenum and thus each cylinder, but each barrel is not an isolated, independent runner.

The TransAm Dual Dommy set up that George refers to was IR.
