Ford EEC must be programmed to within 8% of perfedt for the adaptive to work.

Factory systems often run open loop since they use narrow band sensors

This system requires a wide band sensor

Wide band sensors are easy to damage and have a short life.

The carb look is unique and I have experimented with it myself trying for better fuel atomization.

If you want to run EFI, run real port efi and take advantage of the better intake designs like new cars.

Holley makes a good system with the commander 950 and is easy to install and tune.

Electromotive, FAST and Motec also make adaptive systems that use a wide band sensor.
