Getting the Wipers to operate Intermittent gave me a bit of a headache. First I found the "Smartscreen" Box and bought one from the UK. It was a very simple fit and worked as a charm. BUT every time my Radiator Fan kicked in the Wipers did one swipe!!! I tried everything with dampening inline Condensers, regular damping Condensers and had a friend help me to troubleshoot as well. He has 40+ years experience as an Automotive Electrician. I got a replacement unit sent but same diagnose.... The supplier gave an excellent support and had never experienced something like that with any of the modules sold. Eventually I went "all in" and decided to fit a Lucas Wiper Stalk on the right side of the Steering Column. I bought a new one for a Land Rover together with a special Harness for the VW "99" Relay witch facilitates step-less intermittent Wiper function. I am really pleased with the setup it was however quite a challenge to fit the Stalk Switch on the Steering Column. Last Summer I met a Swedish Pantera owner who did the same job but used a Stalk Switch from a Volvo 340 I believe.
