Despite 20 years of ownership, I think I’m learning something new from this thread.

I have never given much thought to the two items circled in my photo. I have always drained from the bottom and filled from the side plug.

I’m assuming the fill plug you referenced is the red one in my photo, right?

And what pray tell would the yellow plug be?
