Sorry Loyd. I stared at your picturwe some more and finally saw what I was looking at. I am not positive what the function of that bolt is as mine does not have one there, but what is inside that housing the bolt is on is a cross shaft from the shifter linkage. It may be an access hole to either adjust or to tighten, but do not go by what I say. The ZF is one area to avaoid unless you know absolutely what you are doing because yes, you CAN screw it up by just taking a bolt out that you don't know what it is. You really need to contact that guy Micheal and I were talking about. Loyd is his name. The ZF is the most expensive part on the car. I think you would be ok putting a rubber washer on that bolt but I am not going to stand behind that for sure. I have heard stories of people looseining bolts only to have parts fall down inside the tranny turning it in to scrap metal. You must contact LOYD.
