I've done some more investigation on this jamming system.

The AL G9 is a very modern, fully programmable and updatable system. It works with a USB flash drive on board and is much better than anything else I’ve seen since I started looking at these.

You can even program it to ‘auto turn off’ a set time after it detects a laser or radar. Eg; it jams the laser signal, warns you, then say 2 seconds later, it turns itself off automatically.

Of course you can always do it manually. But while you’re hammering the brakes and checking the surroundings and your mirrors while slowing to a more legal speed, you won’t forget to turn it off quickly enough.

This achieves two things:

The offending laser will get a reading and a real speed on your car, a second or so after you’ve slowed. So it doesn’t arouse suspicion that you are jamming their signal.

Secondly, as it turns off the jamming software it leaves only a perfectly legal parking sensor system.

Even if you do get stopped for a suspicious look, there won’t be any jamming signal. Just a working aftermarket parking system to protect your nice paint job.
