Jeff, You know there a 5% of people you'll never satisfy. I sold a fair amount of stuff on eBay (still cleaning out the garage) It was not a money making proposition, but it helped finance other more desirable items for my projects. I feel for you as I believe I am very honest with my listings. It disapoints me when 25% + of people do not respond to survey or rate the shipping slow: I usually get it in the mail within 24 hrs. Or when someone waits to the last 10 seconds to bid then takes 4 days to pay PayPal (even sometimes sends a check to PayPal ;( I now include a note in my shipping asking people to contact me if there are any issues with their purchase, but still many do not respond.
I am curious though what was his complaint about the pulley as these normally sell for $50-$60
