I would assume that they paid for, say, a 2-year contract for the website as opposed to a month-to-month deal. I don't think there have been any updates to the site in literally years. The website appeared when DeTomaso got all ambitious and hired a PR manager, a new president, and was actually kinda serious about making a new Vallelunga. I expect that they signed some sort of long-term agreement, as the site hasn't been touched since.

The PR manager left, Alejandro left too (but went a little further away), and any momentum the company might have had was lost .
