Hey George - some interesting comments, thanks.
1 - Pulsante translates to pushbutton. I was considering classifying these cars as Vignale Pantera's, something to differentiate them from what's referred to as the 'pre-L'.
2 - The Series 2 GTS adopted the updated L-type bodywork that can most easily be identified by the reconfigured indicator/turn light pods positioned below the front bumperettes. Series 1 GTS used the matt black early style bumpers with integral sidelights.
3 - Regarding the American-spec GTS, I think for now I'll keep them with the other GTS variants but hope that sometime in the future (when there are a few more listed ) they can have a category to themselves.
I have a dozen or so more cars going on tonight which should take the total number of De Tomaso's listed beyond 350. By just hoovering up all the available information that's around, I hope to pass the 1000 cars mark before the end of '07.
