Here in NY, the inspection stations are independent owners. Most of them just want your business in the future and for $37.50 are just going to do the minimum and fastest inspection they can.

last time there was a old man before me ( i'm also old , but he was alot older ) ... he got red at the counter. Have they changed colors ? he asked... no, said the lady , your car has a malfunction. Oh, he replyed, can't they fix it while i'm here now ?
