Reply to "Lay down radiator. How far is too far?"

I took a good look at everything tonight. First the brackets that move the lower mounts up and back on the crossmember are nice and allow the radiator to lay farther forward. But that cramps the back side where the hoses connect up. Also the angle seemed pretty extreme and as mentioned by Tony the fans were pointed right at the hood. I don't have vents so I thought twice about that. I repositioned the radiator to the original lower mounts and I think it will work better in my car that way. I found that a distance of about four inches c/c on the upper mounting strap holes looked good to me. Far enough for the fans to clear and not too far so hopefully the air will exit without too much trouble. I'm going to look for some aluminum angle to shroud the edges of the radiator for added benifit if any.

Thanks guys,

Steve
