on 8ma1046, the radio hole was directly leathered over. 8ma1046 was highly original 12k mile car, but the seats were re-leathered and its remotely possible that the dash was re-leathered; but even the Italian tax lobo around the steering column was intact and no reason to think there would have been any reason to pull out the dash for any reason. There was a coax for an antenna running to the back, but being a 70's car it may have been for a CB radio...But possibly there was never a factory radio delete plate.
Neither was there evidence of a speaker (!). So I'm wondering, is anybody sure the factory actually installed radios ? 8MA1076 had a Becker and aerial on front right fender, but also no trace of a speaker installed.
