Lift point reinforcement

I have just purchased a pantera and I want to use my 2 post lift to raise the car. What is the best lift points and what reinforcements should I do to the car? I have seen jack plates in Halls catalog but I don't think they will distrubite the load as needed . Thanks Jim ( 85 GT5)
